Maksim Chmerkovskiy and dancing partner/fiance Karina Smirnoff left the Ivy Restaurant in Los Angeles, California in a romantic mood. Maksim and Karina stopped on their way out of the restaurant to give one another a long kiss. After the kiss, Maksim was very careful and protective of Karina as he shielded her from the photographers and helped her into the car.
