You think you’re neighbors are trouble? Try living next to Bob Dylan! Sources are reporting that a Malibu couple is accusing their neighbor, Bob Dylan of having an unusual landscaping fixture- a porta-potty!!!
In a letter to the editor published by the Malibu Surfside News, Cindy and Dave Emminger publicly complained that the City of Malibu has been unable to help them solve the problem.
The couple accused Dylan of “renting a toxic, hazardous, carcinogenic chemical toilet” and “plopping it down” next to their home, in a rural section of the city overlooking the ocean.
“This toilet is apparently intended by my neighbor, Bob Dylan, to be a permanent fixture on his property,” the couple complained. They said the city’s code enforcement staff has been unable to force its removal.
A spokesman for Dylan and his Grey Water Park Productions was not available Sunday, and the City of Malibu routinely refuses comment on specific code enforcement issues.
Bob has made Malibu his home for years and we have an ariel view of his lot!

As per court proceedings, “It is judicially uncontested by Bob Dylan and or Bob Dylan’s law firms Manatt, Phelps & Phillips , Parcher Hayes & Snyder, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Heck Brown and Sherry and Sony House Counsel that Bob Dylan and people in Bob Dylan’s entourage have solicited James Damiano’s songs and music for over ten years and eleven months.”
Interestingly enough, District Judge Jerome B. Simandle states in his decision “This court will accept as true Plaintiff’s allegations that Sony represented to him that he would be credited and compensated for his work if Dylan used it. Judge Simandle also stated in his decision “Plaintiff has demonstrated a genuine issue of material fact as to whether defendants had access to his work”.
