Piven Has Some Awkward Moments

Oh, Jeremy Piven, how we have missed thee and thy constant BS. We saw the notorious Pivster yesterday as he exited Will Ferrell’s broadway play Your Welcome America on Thursday night. Jeremy is currently under scrutiny by the Broadway community for dropping out of his show Speed the Plow due to alleged mercury poisoning. Jeremy’s hearing to determine whether or not the producers of his show can bring him to civil court for damages began today. His former co-star Elizabeth Moss was also in the audience at Will Ferrell’s show. She is set to testify against him at his hearing. An insider at the show said the two actors sat at opposite sides of the the theater and when both went backstage to congratulate Will, they separated into different rooms and staff were instructed to make sure they did not cross paths. We’ll say this for Jeremy: he’s ballsy, entering the lion’s den like that.

Jessica is in PeggedTown

Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor took a shopping trip to Bel Bambini yesterday in Los Angeles, California. Jessica looked very happy and content carrying her daughter Honor, who glanced curiously around her. Jessica wore pegged ripped jeans and a black sweater and Honor was covered in pink. We were with you ’till the pegged jeans, Jessica. Seriously, let that trend die before it gets any bigger.

Paul Dano is a Grown Up, Okay?

The usually adorable Paul Dano is looking quite scholarly lately, isn’t he? We kind of miss his jet black mop from Little Miss Sunshine. It was a good look for him. But we get it, Paul is moving into more adult roles and he wants to look the part. We were there to snap a foto or two as he arrived on set for “The Extra Man” filming on the Upper East Side in New York City, New York yesterday, taking a break from his grown up gear and looking cute in a silly hat and fleece.

Dancing with Denise (and Maks!)

Denise Richards exited the 3rd Street Dance Studio with her dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy yesterday in Los Angeles, California. Denise was there rehearsing for Dancing With the Stars. She has recently told sources that she has joined DWTS allegedly to get into shape. Well, from what we’ve heard, she will certainly get the opportunity – most of the stars on that show lose an awful lot of weight and tone up real quick!

Chances are if you grow up with famous parents you get some nice perks. Take for example the Broderick family. Actor Matthew Broderick played chauffeur to his son James by holding his door for him before driving off in their eco-friendly Prius for another day at school in the West Village in New York City, New York. We’re guessing James is getting used to a chauffeur!
