Gossip Folk Playin’ Hoop

Chace Crawford was happily shooting some hoops with British actor Ed Westwick yesterday while the two were filming a scene for “Gossip Girl” at the Stanton Street Courts in the Lower East Side of New York City, New York. Chace seemed to be dominating the game, but we’d put our money on Ed if they ever switch to footie.

Eva Needs the Right Role

Eva Mendes was looking lovely in a white coat when we saw her waving goodbye to her beloved Hollywood Hills. The Hitch starlet departed from the Los Angeles International Airport after the Oscar awards. Eva wasn’t up for anything this year, but we have the feeling that she will be someday. She has too much natural charm and charisma to ignore. All she needs is the right part!

We spotted American actress Leighton Meester walking through Soho with co-star Chace Crawford while filming a scene for Gossip Girl in New York City, New York yesterday. It’s hard to choose which of the Gossip Girls is best-dressed. Wait, scratch that. Honestly, Leighton by far takes the prize, though we think that Blake and Taylor make a case for themselves. We love the way that Leighton is wearing this whole ensemble. It’s not easy to rock the dark tights with a lighter shoe, but Blake pulls it off with style.

The Wrestler is Down; Not Out

Mickey Rourke left the Red Carpet at the 2009 Academy Awards for an After-party on Sunday night in Los Angeles, California. Mickey looked in good spirits in spite of a disappointing night losing the Best Oscar award to Sean Penn. He probably had an inkling though – there’s been a lot of talk about how the Academy might acknowledge Prop 8 via Mr. Penn.
