Shia Likes the Sauce?

This sounds like a recipe for fun: Liquor, Weapons and a Hollywood Star! We snapped Shia LaBeouf as he took a trip to his local liquor store in Glendale, California on the very same day that the Transformers star has had his driving license suspended for a minimum of one year due to his “refusal of chemical tests†(breathalyzer test) after his accident in Hollywood last July.

After the accident Shia underwent surgery for his badly injured left hand and still sported a brace to prevent further injury. We know Shia has had some trouble with booze in the past and we hope that perhaps he’s only buying O’douls in there. Also, is that a knife in your pocket Shia or are you just happy to see us?

Carey & Zoe are Cute Overload
Alert to foto editors around the world! There is too much cute in this snapshot of Carey Muligan and Zoe Kravitz. Zoe is of course well-known for her rather famous parentage of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Carey is less a household name, but any proper fan of Jane Austen will recognize Carey from her role as Kitty in the Keira Knightley Pride and Prejudice…not to mention her brilliant turn as Isabella Thorpe in ITV’s delightful interpretation of Northanger Abbey. The two girls gave us a pose on the streets of Park City, looking happy and bundled up.

Elijah is Illuminated
Elijah Wood is used to the highwire act that is Hollywood. We can count on one hand the number of actors that made the successful hop from child star to the real deal adult actor, and Elijah is one of them. He’s also one of those actors that manages to balance the indie (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) with the money (Lord of the Rings), and we respect him for it. We saw Elijah at Sundance this week, accompanied by his lovely long-time girlfriend, Gogol Bordello member Pamela Racine.

Adam is Sundancing
Adam Scott first turned our eye in a memorable role in Veronica Mars, but it looks like his guest starring days are over. Adam is in the big flicks now, namely as Will Ferrel’s nemesis in Step Brothers. Adam was hilarious as the showtune-singing, evil business-dealing little bro who held no small amount of animosity for his loser of a sibling. Of course, he was highly entertaining in the role. But clearly Adam is a sweetheart in real life, as he gave us this nice smile in Park City a couple days ago.

Ewan in Utah
We’re interested to see Ewan McGregor’s next film. When asked to describe it, Ewan said it was “a gay prison romance story”. Interesting. I Love You Phillip Morris stars Ewan and Jim Carrey as a set of imprisoned men who fall in love, based on a true story. Well, we’re not sure what to say about that, so we’ll fall back on an old standard. Ewan looks freakin’ hot in this foto, no? We snapped it at Sundance, where he was there to promote his new flick. Good luck with that, E.

Denise Richards is In Town
We seriously doubt that Denise Richards has ever cultivated an interest in indie filmmaking – seriously, if one of your signature films is Starship Troopers, it’s probably hard to be taken TOO serious at Sundance. But we do know that Denise loves a good party, and she clearly was enjoying the rounds when we saw her a couple days ago in Park City, standing out in a bright jacket and bouncing blonde hair.
