We Are Buying Paparazzi Fotos Today!

Nothing goes up forever. The easy money in the paparazzi industry was made a couple of years ago. Those wonderful days may come back, but it will take half of the paparazzi in town to leave the industry. There are just too many photos on the market today. Plain and simple. Tight market or not, Buzz Foto continues to grow and seek the best paparazzi imagery available.

If you are a freelancer and working legally, we can broker your photos or better yet, in this tight market, we can purchase them outright. You will be paid promptly and fairly. We would love to feature your iconic paparazzi imagery on these pages!

Buy them outright? What are you, x17? Freelance photographers: always keep the copyright to your images! They are yours and don’t sell them for a fast buck.

Hell no. Buzzfoto is widely known by us as one of the most corrupt. Nobody trusts you.

Actually I heard Buzz Foto had a reputation as one of the more honest agencies. I’m surprised they are now offering to buy photos outright from freelancers. It gives the impression that they’re taking advantage of photographers’ economic worries while screwing them in the long term.

This recession will end eventually, let’s not ruin the business permanently while it’s going on.

The word that goes around with the paps is they sold the first shot of Nicole Nichie’s baby for 60K. Told the photographer it sold for 10k and gave him 6k of it. Keeping the rest, the guy found out years later. He’s a dick but they still cheated him.

And X17 is far worse. They’ll buy something of yours for 800 bucks. give you 200 up front and never get back to you about the other 600. Anyone that deals with either of these places are fools throwing money away.

Seriously, Henry and Brad are the fucking worst. Out and out scum. Give em your pics, get cheated, and help them undercut all the legit agencies w/ their low pic fees which they can get away with by not paying the photog.

The irony is that there are numerous posts on this website encouraging photographers to never give up their copyright!

What if, in 1980, Brad had sold this Farrah Fawcett shot outright to an agency for a flat fee?

What’s a good agency to work with then as a freelance? Any pointers? Thanks!
