Russell Crowe Tries Hard To Shed Weight
Boy oh boy, Russell Crowe is very serious about losing weight! He’s only been snapped lately either eating healthy or working out! We got these EXCLUSIVE fotos of Russell as he got something to eat with a male companion at Euro Caffe in Beverly Hills, California. Russell Crowe was sporting his usual clothes, his biking clothes! Come on Russell, someone as famous as you can at least get a few sets of different work out clothing! Let’s hope when he makes the new Robin Hood film he doesn’t show up on screen in this!

[...] Turns out being one of Russell Crowe’s merry men has its advantages beyond being hounded by paparazzi as you eat lunch. [...]

Don’t you know who the guy with Russell is? That’s Alan Doyle, lead singer of the Canadian band Great Big Sea and Russell’s occasional song writing partner.
Alan looks as scruffy as his buddy Russell, who is living out of a suitcase for the time being anyway. He dressed up very nicely for the big boxing match appearances in Vegas this past weekend. I think we ought to let him wear what’s comfy when he’s on his own casual time. Why should either of them dress up to please the papz?
The guy with Russell is Alan Doyle of Canadian band Great Big Sea.
Isn’t Russell’s “male companion” Alan Doyle, lead singer of Canadian band, Great Big Sea? The two are friends, in fact, Russell co-wrote a song on GBS’s latest release, “Fortune’s Favour,” a great tune called “Company of Fools.”
The “male companion” is Alan Doyle, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and frontman of the Canadian
band Great Big Sea. He has co-written and performed with Russell Crowe in Australia, and Crowe has joined GBS on stage now and then. Great Big Sea’s new (12th) album Fortune’s Favour contains a Doyle/Crowe collaboration “Company of Fools”. I have recently heard that Great Big Sea’s “The Night Paddy Murphy Died” will be used in the soundtrack of Crowe’s upcoming film.

The male companion is Alan Doyle of the Canadian Celtic/Folk/Rock Group “Great Big Sea”. Excellent band…Russell Crowe has a song on the band’s latest CD “Fortune’s Favour” that he co-wrote with Alan Doyle called “Company of Fools”. Excellent Tune!

You know you’ve made it in Newfoundland when you show up in a paparazzi photo.
I was gonna say the male companion’s name is Alan, but you all beat me to it. And yes, “Company of Fools” is a great tune, but I’d have to say my favourite is “Testify.”
Oh, my God! It’s Alan Doyle from Great Big Sea!!!
Everyone else wa saying it, and evidently it wasn’t enough for just one person to say it, which is why we now have 6 different comments that all say essentially the same thing.
Alan is such a cutie.
But I still don’t get it.
Sincerely,
An Uber-Bouncity-Squealy-Obsessive-Major Great Big Sea fan
