Tell ‘Em, Heather!

Former child star Heather Matarazzo made a strong statement this week when she attended the after party for the Cinema Society’s screening of Milk in New York City, New York. Milk is based on the life of California’s first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk. Heather, who is herself an openly gay celebrity, took the time to talk to fans outside about how relevant this movie is currently in a country that still does not allow gay marriage on a federal level. She posed with Carson Kressley (Queer eye for the straight guy) and later with her girlfriend. Heather wore a shirt that read “Second Class Citizen” to represent how she felt living in the U.S.A.
