Mark is Whisper-less

October 15, 2008 · Filed Under Justin Campbell, Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg was all business when we caught up with him leaving his hotel to go out to dinner last night in New York City, New York. When asked by a fan about the Saturday Night Live spoof of him he refused to comment. We don’t blame him. Some quotes of his regarding the skit were recently taken out of context, to make it sound like he was mad about the sketch…he wasn’t, ya’ll. We read the interview and don’t worry, Mark still has a sense of humor.

His comment about punching a Jewish guy (Andy) in the “big f*cking nose” sounds pretty antisemetic to me. This guy should just lay low for a very long time.

It wasn’t anti-semetic at all. And I’m Jewish and heard him say that! And remember, Mark Wahlberg’s personal assistant, Eric Weinstein, is Jewish. His manager and partner in business is Jewish, his agent is Jewish. He’s in a profession that is run predominantly by Jewish business people … so what’s your problem?
