Gayle King, Editor-at-Large of Oprah Magazine and the noted best friend of Oprah was spotted yesterday in New York City. Gayle smiled and gave us a wave as she exited Hermes on Madison Avenue after a private cocktail reception. Hm, well it’s nice to see that Oprah and Gayle have a forgiving nature – remember the gigantic snafu that occurred when Oprah denied entrance to a Hermes store in Europe, amid accusations of racism on the part of the fashion house? Yeah, Oprah herself even called the president of the company. Bet that was a fun conversation.
