Naomi Lays Down the Smack
Uh-oh! When we talk about assault, we think of Naomi Campbell, not Naomi Watts! Maybe in this instance, Naomi Watts took herself a little too literally, she once said: “Hollywood’s a surreal place, and it really is an assault on your spirit.” Does that go for rowdy photogs too? A pregnant Naomi showed off her baby bump as she went shopping at the Brentwood Market and Spa in Brentwood, California. All was well and good and suddenly, according to sources at the scene, the number of paparazzi caused quite a scene and Naomi allegedly struck a photographer out of anger as she was trying to exit the market. A security guard also allegedly got into a scuffle with a paparazzo from an unscrupulous photography agency that were using aggressive tactics to get her picture. Naomi tried to keep her face down and walk alone during the incident. Out of respect for Naomi, we’re not showing photos of the incident. Watts, who is expecting her second child with actor Liev Schreiber might have had her maternal instinct going strong. At least she didn’t have a blackberry to throw at the guy! We’ll leave the telephone-as-a-deadly weapon tactics to the other Naomi! Perhaps there’s something in the name that inspires rage? Or maybe photographers with no manners will know better next time not to mess with a pregnant woman!
