The Thrill Of Getting Tossed Out Of Disneyland In ‘77

Around 1977 we were tailing the Bay City Rollers trying to get photos of them at Disneyland to sell to European and Japanese magazines. The photos were worth a fortune back then. Enough to buy a car!
The management did not want us to take and sell the photos to these markets probably due to some sort of deal with their personal photographer, but that did not stop us. We were there with our mentor, Paparazzo Richard Creamer. Richard, who looked more than an puggy English professor then a paparazzo, kept telling the security that he was an eccentric sent there to by his kids to take photos! No on in the security detailed believed poor Ricard and we were tossed in the street. We had a few photos, but more importantly we had this amazing rush from being tossed out of Disneyland in the line of paparazzi duty. It was at that moment, we knew that we would be in this industry for a lifetime!

Fast forward to this afternoon at Disneyland where our photographer was successful in getting this cool set photos of Lindsay and Samantha enjoying life. Nope, no one was tossed out, so they have note experienced that full rush!

Ah..Disneyland………………Where celebs can be seen, the 15$ lunch special is norm, charachter gropings run wild, and ethnic photography is all around you.

The ‘watchful eye” of old Walt can be felt everywhere.

One time back in ‘01, a loud drunk man was
taken out by 5 security guards that appard from many hidden doors. It was pretty cool……..And scary, when compared to Vegas. He never re-emurged What happens in Disneyland……………
