Madonna Then and Now
Take a look at this amazing foto taken by Brad Elterman over twenty years ago. The foto is titled “Madonna Meets the Press 1980″ and is perfect example of an iconic image that is set in our memories about what it means to be a star. The foto is relevant today because we’re sure that Madonna’s Sweet and Sticky tour will contain plenty of omigosh moments Madonna has often given controversial performances, each one outdoing the next. Remember her lip lock with X-tina and Brit? Can she live up to the hype this year? In 1980, Madge was hardly the PR machine she is these days, look at her pulling a one woman publicity stunt in this foto. It was surely a sign of things to come, and we’ll all stay tuned to see what she can do tonight!

No, this picture was from the AMA’s in 1985. I knew I recognized the outfit/hair picture and looked it up, it’s early ‘85. Your point is right though!
