Elvis Was Almost As Big As Britney!!

This is the closest we ever came to photographing Elvis Presley. Back then you could retire for a year if you managed to get fotos of Elvis walking through a doorway at the Hilton in Las Vegas. If he was with a new girlfriend like Linda Thompson, you could take off for two years.

Elvis was always on our radar watch, but no such luck. We had to settle for covering the funeral in Memphis in 1977. It was an amazing story to cover with all kinds of photo ops all over town. Today, this photograph is a hot seller at our photo exhibitions.
