Gossip Girl Costume Supervisor Tonya Huskey The Woman Behind The Clothes
If you love the fashion and glamour of Gossip Girl, and wondered who has the magic touch to make all the actors look like fashion maven, we have your answer. We got some fotos of the series’ costume supervisor Tonya Huskey as she arrived to the set of the show in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. Tonya has a love for high heels, pencil skirts, and sexy, flirty blouses. She has a keen eye for what’s going be the next big thing: just take a look at her bag. We’re loving the bag from Foley + Corinna, New York based-designers that fly under the radar.
According to Jaq Greenspon, author of Film Buffs, “The costumer supervisor works for the designer and acts as a liason between the designer and the key costumers. On the set, the supervisor oversees all the costumes, handling any problems that might arise. If there are any changes that need to be made and the dsigner is not avaible, the supervisor is there to accomplish them. “

I met Tonya as a child when I used I work with her mother for over 15 years. I knew from day one, that she was destined for greater things. If you could have listened to the “pride’ that her parents had for her, the years of worry while she was in New York, all that made her who she is today…you would realize that your STUPID little comments and your lack luster observations will NEVER take away from her hard work and determination. Reece and Fingle either must be jealous or failures in this business. Be Happy, Karma is going to get you.
