Hit, Not, Hit?
Nia Vardalos made the studio, Tom Hanks, and herself a mint on the semi-autobiographical super smash My Big Fat Greek Wedding. And then came Connie & Carla, which was a giant flopola. Luckily the suits in H-town all speak fluent cash-nese and they haven’t forgotten about Nia’s first hit. All that dough from before is still buying her a second chance with her new flick I Hate Valentines Day, which Nia herself is directing! We saw Nia looking very animated and excited as she helmed her film near Forte Green Park in Brooklyn yesterday. Good Luck!
