A Bit of Hair
You don’t have to have lived through the 60′s to know that its influence will never die – we see it in music, in books, and especially in fashion. Check out these fotos from yesterday for proof! New Yorkers were treated to a special performance of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical performed by the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park. Those costumes (which are quite fab, btw), are the great-grandfathers of the boho look that was so popular a few years back. And the headband thing is still going strong these days. The cast of Hair performed on a stage outside Theory, New York’s flagship store in the Meatpacking district. The event is being co-sponsored by the Theory Icon Project. A groovy, free-loving time was had by all.
