The Ultimate Pop Star
When you think of cool pop stars you think of Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Sonny Bono. These were cool rock stars, but the coolest of the lot was and still is Ian Hunter, the lead singer of the band Mott The Hoople. Mott, as we would call them, had a giant hit with All The Young Dudes written for them by David Bowie.
What makes Ian Hunter so cool is his incredible presence. When he would walk into a room, it was the same feeling you would get when Elvis or Sinatra would arrive.
We know that feeling well and experienced it more than once. You do not get that feeling today, not even with Lindsay Lohan.
