Do you see the photographer sandwiched in between Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton? That is Dave Keeler a true Los Angeles living legend.

Dave has been taking photographs at private parties and on the streets of L.A for decades. He is adored by all the stars and everyone stops to have their foto taken by Dave.

Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, but he always takes a moment to speak to the stars. He keeps his camera down away from his face and he just chats with the talent while he is getting his iconic shots. That is a trick that Ron Galella invented.

Back in the day, Dave was photographing Frank Sinatra, Liz Taylor and Bob Hope on a regular basis with almost zero competition. Dave’ s favorite subject was Dean Martin and they became fast friends. The two could always be found at Da Vinci’s restaurant in Beverly Hills every single night of the week.

So next time you see Dave on the streets of L.A., treat him with respect. He has paid his dues in this wonderful industry and he is a the peak of his career. When his foto book finally comes out, we will be the first one standing in line to buy a copy!
