MALIBU SURFERS ATTACK THE PAPARAZZI!!
What happens when you mix drunk surfers and the paparazzi on a hot gorgeous summer day? You get major trouble and that is what happened yesterday at Point Dume.
This is just about the most disgraceful story that we have heard of all week. Not only is this story shocking, but it will be picked up all over the world.
Is it really worth getting into a fight over a photograph? This was clearly a gang mentality in a beautiful and wealthy neighborhood. WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT OUR SOCIETY?
Get this, the surfers in Malibu were not amused that the paparazzi were taking photographs of Matthew McConaughey on a PUBLIC Malibu Beach. Not only were they not amused, but the surfers were drinking on a PUBLIC beach and they proceeded to physically attacked the paparazzi!
First things first. Do not let anyone tell you that a beach in Malibu is private. The California law clearly states the area between the low tide and high tide is public. There is no issue of a trespass here.
The issue here is why the local Malibu Sheriff is not enforcing a no drinking policy on the beach? There have been rumblings about Malibu trying to launch, with the aid of Ken Starr, an anti paparazzi ordinance. Well it will never happen. As long as the paparazzi are obeying California law, they are entitled to live and work in Malibu.
Matthew is a big boy and can take care of himself. This was just a case of drunk and bored kids trying to blow off steam.
Anytime you drunk, pudgy surfers want to go one on one at a Malibu Town Hall meeting, we will see you there any day of the fucking week. We can get Ted Kopel to moderate!
So go out and enjoy this beautiful Sunday. If you are taking fotos in Malibu, just be careful. At the end of the day a photograph no matter how important is NEVER worth physical violence.
they were at little dume, not zuma or malibu, and it is a PRIVATE beach. you need an invite to be there, and a key to get in. they also have security guards. the pap smears snuck in and got their asses kicked. mcinneedofpublicity probably snouck them in himself. he’s NOT a surfer. he’s a fucking kook who has been told to get out of the water several times. he is a danger. fuck them all. they are nothing more that human seagulls and should be treated like the scum that they are. fuck all paparazzi in the ass with a fork.

While I do enjoy your photos I have to say sometimes the paps go to far and do not allow others to have a personal life outside of work. While the rest of us leave work at a designated time NOT to have people following us around to dinner and the beach, the celebs do. Just because they are a public figure does not mean we own their ass and they do not deserve some privacy without having to hire help to and hide under the radar. Granted violence is not the solution, but sometimes people really get tired of dealing with the bull shit. No matter how you try to justify it so you can continue taking celeb photos, it’s not right. People are people regardless of what they do for a living. Matthew deserves to surf on a public beach with the rest of the world without all the hoopla.
Yes people are people and when you have the gift to live in Malibu on a beautiful day when everyone is minding their own business, it makes no sense to start a find. Everyone was getting along before a bunch of drunken and bored surfers started the fight. Those surfers are a product of zero class and zero education. With all the shit going on in the world today, they should count their blessings to have the lifestyle to do and just learn to mellow out. Let’s see if the Sheriff will now enforce the no drinking on the beach policy. We have that rule so those block heads will not disturb the peace.

I was there on Sat. during the first fight and the whole reason it escalated to punches was because during the arguing, one of the photographers pulled out his knife. Why hasn’t this part been mentioned? Because the press need the Papparazzi to take pictures for them. They want them to appear like law abiding citizens. It’s a good thing no one got more seriously hurt.
i have been witness to the paparazzi for several years in malibu. i watch them litter on the beach, urinate in public, pick fights with random beach goers minding their business, speed, make illeagal u-turns on pch, nearly cause major accidents, tresspass, smoke weed in public, i could keep going on for days on all the laws they break. they dont obey the current laws we have. and most are here illeagally and barely speak english. what we saw at the beach that day was society fighting back against the scum that hide behind the 1st amendment. i would love to see all of them sent to the electric chair. x17,tmz,splash,flynet,inf,fame,snap pix, hollywoodtv, are the worst of the worst. ppl need to start pressing charges against them. they tresspassed to get onto that beach, were tresspassing while they were set up on the rocks, and when they left.ÂÂ
