Who could have ever imagined that wearing a full suit in New York City summer heat could look so coll and effortless? Businessman and Fiat heir Lapo Elkann looked fantastic yesterday in a white pinstripe suit with a dark shirt, dark loafers, and a straw fedora as he enjoyed lunch with friends at Bar Pitti in New York City. Lapo is known for his great, distinctive style: he’s always on every style publication’s end of year best-dressed lists, and he can wear a vintage suit like no one else can. Men, take note: summer is not an excuse to break out in Birkentstocks. If Lapo can wear a suit in the heat, you can wear real shoes.
