A Poppy Jewel

Remember Jewel Kilcher, aka Jewel? The Alaskan poet/songstress has seemed to have kept her Hollywood-ish reinvention as a pop tart. We caught her having dinner at the ever-trendy Mr Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Jewel looked funky in bright green hoop earrings. Not at all like the little overall-wearing backwoods gal with an acoustic guitar. Remember that terrible pop video she put out a couple years back? We don’t get why people decide to glam it up when the whole Aw Shucks thing is working for them.
