Go Out And Support The Arts!
We just got back from Christophe Guye’s Scalo Guye Gallery on Robertston Blvd. The toast of the town was there and we were lucky to get past the opening night crowds.
Daniele Albright was exhibiting her works and she was present to greet everyone. Her photographs are incredibly vibrant and calming at the same time. Daniele works in digital and also color transparencies and we were really taken by her Big Sur work.
Daniele Albright’s photographs play with processes of continuity and dissolution both internal and external to our experience. They are not photographic documents of objects or spaces in the traditional sense, but reformulations of perception that suspend the visual field between the known and the impossible.
The exhibition runs though the end of the month. Now get off the internet and go out and support the arts!
