Leona Lewis Hits The US

Leona Lewis was in New York this week promoting the release of her new cd, Spirit, in the United States. We caught her yesterday as she finished up an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly in the ABC studios in New York City. Leona is set to be the next big diva singer – her album was the fastest-selling debut ever in the UK, and her singles have done really well in the states so far (and she has Simon Cowell behind her, so she’s due for some big time success). Leona has been reluctant to absord the whole celebrity lifestyle; she even still lives in the same apartment in London with her boyfriend and close to her mother and her siblings. We love that she’s such a big talent and still manages to stay grounded. The one Hollywood endulgence we hope she takes: a stylist with designer duds. That coat doesn’t cut it with the level of success, talent, and beauty she has.
