Papa Spears Loosens Britney’s Purse Strings

Having her father’s help and assistance recently has visibly done a lot for Britney Spears – she looks healthier than she ever has since her pregnancies and divorce, and she seems considerably less confrontational towards the press. Papa Spears let Britney have a little fun with the credit cards yesterday as she went on a complete shopping spree at Paige Clothing Boutique on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood. As we know, Britney has been confined to the common stores like Forever 21 and Claire’s at the common-man’s mall, so when she was given the chance to snag some high-end merchandise… forget carpe diem – she grabbed the day and squeezed it within an inch of its life and came out of the store carrying more bags that she could physically handle. She had to get police escorts to help her with her bags and to help her to her car, which was surrounded by a mod of photographers and press staff trying to get a glimpse of the star enjoying her time out.
