Sarah Jessica Parker Is Upset By Unsexy Title

Sarah Jessica Parker is incensed by Maxim Magazine’s decision to make her the Unsexiest Woman Alive in 2007. The actress was so hurt by the decision to give her this title because she has resisted the Hollywood urge to get cosmetic surgery to enhance or maintain appearances.

She tells Grazia magazine, “Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men’s magazine? Maybe not. “Am I really the unsexiest women in the world? Wow! It’s kind of shocking… it’s so brutal in a way.”

Parker admits the dishonour was also hard for her husband Matthew Broderick to take: “It upset him because it has to do with his judgement too. It’s condemnation, it’s insane. What can I do? I guess you can’t please all people.”

SPJ may not be the most conventionally beautiful actress in Hollywood (though she continues to take a top spot on People Magazine’s Most Beautiful People list every year), and she may go out in Uggs from time to time (even celebs need a day off from being glamorous) we do believe that she is one of the most graceful, gracious, intelligent and talented actresses working in Hollywood today. We hope that this unfortunate, misogynistic title title does not get her and her family’s spirits’ down.
