The Lauren Conrad Collection

“The Hills” star Lauren Conrad debut her Fall 2008 collection a couple of days ago at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles. The collection was actually pretty cute – full of chic little dresses and some versatile basics (like sweaters and leggings), and a lot of LC’s favorite color, black. Many fans complained that her Spring collection was far to simplistic for the price tag, so the luxe factor in this collection was decidedly increased, with more sophisticated pieces like high waisted skirts and body-conscious, curve-friendly cocktail dresses that hinted toward her interpretation of French chic. It seemed like a collection designed with her and her friends heavily on the brain – she wore her own dress on the red carpet before the show. What do you think of the collection? A definite improvement over last season? Or still overpriced?
