The traffic is extreme, apartments on top of apartments, noisy, and people think they are "high-class" b/c they are paying $2k monthly to live in a dump. Overpriced eatieries with mediocre food. Some 2-3 people sharing a 1 bedroom is not uncommon because of the poser factor. Another is the renting of the BMW or MB or porshe to show off to the naive and the stupid.
