The Daisy 1976
The Daisy was the coolest night spot in Beverly Hills It was also probably one of only a couple of actual private clubs in town. The clubs best run was from the mid to late Seventies. The owner was Jack Hanson and he was Beverly Hills royalty. Jack had style and grace and only Jack would control the $250 per year membership list. So one evening we were invited to sit at Jack’s table by our dear friend Elite Model, Jenny Diamond. Time Magazine photographer Julian Wasser was at the table too. Looking back, we find it hard to believe that not only were we sitting at Jack’s table, but we were underage at about 18 and to top it all off, we were permitted to shoot photos. So there we were hanging out at The Daisy and sipping our lemonade and OJ Simpson comes over to say hello to everyone. He as there with his stunning wife Nicole. One thing lead to another and we took this almost frightening photograph. We only recently found the negative as it had been in storage for years. What do you think about it? We never cared for photographing OJ. There was always something scary about him.
