I have been a fan of bon jovi for 25 years. I think Stephanie is a beautiful young lady. I wonder if its difficult for her to be the daughter of such a famous person. It looks to me like they have a very tight family. As the mother of a 15 year old daughter, I know its not easy growing up todya. kudos to Stephanie and the rest of the family for keeping it together. Its nice to see a celebrity family stay together. My husband and I just came from his concert at Central Park last night, and he’s still rocking the house after all these years!!!

I took her to her first Bon Jovi concert in March in Toronto, Ontario. We had so much fun. Hope you are having a great summer and having fun with your dad and family as it was a long tour and I am sure you missed him.

I have three kids and for my 40 th birthday they all sent me to see him in Boston. I listend to him every day going through chemo and to see him live was awesome. Sometimes music just heals you. I am Peruvian, 33 years old and was born in the same day than your father was. It is curious to me to have the same birthday and what is more curious is that my husband’s birthday is on the same day than your mom’s. Something at least in common. haha.
What I really would like from Bon Jovi band is that they come some time to my country. They have never come to play (or to visit). In 1997 there was a big chance for them to come but something happened and canceled. Things have changed in my country, more artists are coming here, and I don’t know if it’s because taxes have been lowered for them to come or because nobody talks about an emergency condition in Peru, because there isn’t one, at least now.
Please, Peruvian people also love Bon Jovi and we expect them to come soon.

Ok Steph, thank you very much. I understand there are many reasons why artists didn’t come to Peru to play in the past, but things are getting better. As never before, in only one month (November) there are four different artists who will play here (Duran DUran, Kylie Minogue, R.E.M and Cindy Lauper). Concerts of English speakers are not usual in Peru, so you can imagine how we feel that they are starting to come.
There is something curious to tell, even though it would sound hard for artists: usually, artists that come to Peru, come when they are not so popular any more (I talk about the English-speaking ones, salsa musicians come always, that is not weird). They are called “Dinosaurs” here because they were big once but old now and they do not have the same popularity that they used to have.
I don’t want this to happen to Bon Jovi. I would like them to come now that they keep their popularity high. However, I and all of their Peruvian fans would be very happy to have them among us young or old, popular or not, dinosaurs or not.

I was one of the people who said if she was or not the real Stephanie, it didn’t matter, but there were things that really made me doubt, her English, for example, I don’t know, my mother tongue is Spanish and I really don’t know how a person of her age (16-17 years old) can write, no idea. But as translator I know when something is not written correctly and it’s weird to see an English-speaking person writing worst that a non English-speaking person. My English is not perfect but…those mistakes are rare.
I was also the one who asked about her mother’s birthday to see if it was kinda a proof to know if she was her mother, or what is her hobby. The reply I expected was September 29th and karate. It’s an information from the net but,… just wanted to try. Something curious about birthdays, mine is on March 2nd as Jon and my husband’s is on September 29th as Dorothea. funny ha?
