Sharon Stone is one of the greatest actresses in the English language. Imagine the world without the sultry, salacious “Sliver” or the campy, cutesy “Basic Instinct 2.” She has old movie star glamour about her and that’s so refreshing to see nowadays. Lindsay Lohan wishes she could be as scintillating as Sharon. Ms. Stone needs to do a biopic of Gene Tierney. She would be over the top for sure but it would finally get her Oscar gold. She must be so frustrated at the dearth of good women’s roles in neo-classical Hollywood. That must be why she does so much shopping at places like Beverly Hills’ Williams Sonoma!
