Paparazzi 1977

Paparazzi has been around for decades. Ron Galella’s Paparazzi photos from the seventies are now works of art and in major collections around the world. In the seventies you had maybe two or three paparazzos total in front of Chasens, The Bistro, The Daisy or On The Rox. Now you have a small village of photographers everywhere. This classic photo of John, Yoko and Ringo was taken in front of On The Rox on the Sunset Strip. It was a major deal to get two Beatles in one photograph. If you had three of them it was a major jackpot and if you had all four, well you would be set for life.
