Lindsay Lohan Gets A Subpoena – Exclusive Photo
Lindsay Lohan attended the 21st Annual American Cinematheque Award Honoring George Clooney last night. Everyone was there including Julia Roberts. On her way out, Lindsay was served legal papers subpoenaing her to appear in court to testify against her mother, Dina Lohan. Standing right behind Lindsay was Rumour Willis, who got to watch the whole thing. Here’s what happened… A woman (the process server) walked over to Lindsay and Lindsay thought she was asking for an autograph. According to our photographer, Lindsay said, “You’re my first autograph.” The woman replied, “You’ve been served!”, and quickly left. Lindsay immediately dropped the papers to run after the process server. Lindsay was pissed! According to Antonio Almeida, the lawsuit is against Lindsay’s mom, Dina Lohan, who is being sued by producers, Antonio Almeida and Mitchell Chait, for tens of thousands of dollars for violation of contract, fraud, theft, and other violations.
Seems that in 2002 Dina signed a contract with Antonio Almeida and Mitchell Chait to help with Lindsay’s music career. Almeida and Chait have filed suit against Dina claiming that they recorded half an album with Lindsay and Emilio Estefan in 2002 and 2003. In 2004, Dina signed a contract with Tommy Mattola’s record company, Casablanca Records. Tommy and Casablanca produced Lindsay’s two albums, “Speak” and “A Little More Personal”. Almeida and Chait allege they leant Dina money for Lindsay’s music. Between Lindsay’s family problems with her father, her bad driving records, and now this lawsuit concerning her mom, the “Mean Girls” star needs to slow down her fast paced life a little.
